These two kids got married yesterday - Nick Allen and Beth Anne Isaacs. Aren't they the cutest? We were incredibly honored to be part of their day. We did their pre-marriage counseling and Ben performed the ceremony and then helped DJ. They got married on the Isaacs' family farm. It was a fairy tale wedding. 

To top of the beautiful ceremony, the amazingly fun reception and a weekend away - the best part was being with people who are so dear to us. Some of our dearest friends and favorite people on this earth were there. We laughed, we danced, we celebrated. Although I would love to sit and talk with each of them for hours and catch up, it just can't happen sometimes. But at the same time, I can still spend this time with them and know that we really do love each other. And there's a very special part of my heart and life that are reserved for their friendship and the impact they have had on me. 

On our way home today, I texted Adrienne who was driving home to Lake Champion. I said, "Even though we've been gone for 4 years, it's times like this weekend that make it so hard to get in the car and drive north." It totally caught me off guard and I cried in the car when I wrote it. 

It's been an incredibly emotional and difficult week. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights, we spent with 3 different people weeping over life altering events in their lives. Heartbreaking and life changing events - all completely different. Ben and I are both so emotionally tired and drained. I think that's why the emotions were at the forefront today and it was a little hard to go "home." It was so good for our souls to celebrate this weekend.

Note: Instagrapp is my new favorite app. I took a lot of these pics from Instagram today on the car ride from Ripley to New Martinsville and NM to Morgantown. I'm giving credit where credit is due.
