Well, June just passed us by. Gee Whiz! Here's part 1 of the recap.
Ben keeps the kids on Fridays. They do fun things like "play" in the skit closet at his office. Really that means they clean.

We invested in a bull horn for Young Life/Big Kick Soccer Camp. Every kid's dream!
The carpet was installed in the sunroom. The kids watched every minute and asked a gazillion questions. Those guys were so sweet and answered all their questions. It's really no longer a sunroom so we're trying to rename it "the playroom." Old habits die hard.
It's such a beautiful room! The closet is my favorite part. Oh my word, the things I can fit in there.
I got rid of my desk and invested in these cool storage cubes/baskets things. The kids play in the playroom all the time. It's a whole new liveable space in our house. Thank you, Dad! Such a wonderful gift!
Ted finished up the baseball season. We sure do love baseball around here.
Sophie is Lilly's official chaperone to the concession stand for the 4th inning freezie pop.
One of my favorite days so far this summer was one we spent with The Kozel's. The kids and mom's played at the pool all afternoon. Then they came over for dinner. After dinner, we walked over to the park.
The boys played baseball.
The girls played at the park.
Just a good, good day of summer. What I envision our summer days looking like.
We had swimming lessons last week. Sophie LOVES being in water. This may be her sport.
This is her doing the "starfish."
And hanging along the side of the wall. Ted was across the pool and not into Mom being around to take pictures. So no pictures of Ted. Swimming lessons were great for both kids with MUCH improvement. I feel much better about Sophie's love of water and lack of awareness of possible danger.
Our friend, Ella, had surgery last week. Dr. Collins (who did Ted's surgery) was her surgeon as well. Ted wrote this note to Ella and Ben delivered in the day of the surgery.
Dear Ella,
Dr. Collins did my head. He is nice. I hope you feel better soon. We are praying for you.
From Ted Tuel
