basketball

Ted had his first basketball game on Saturday. We decided that he does way more dangerous things messing around the house (thinking about his head) and it's not a helmeted activity and he's not climbing above his waist. So he's playing Upward Bound Basketball. I really, really like. Ben is the unofficial assistant coach. If you have not attended a Kindergarten basketball game, do yourself a favor and find one. You'll get a good laugh, see complete chaos, witness total frustration from coaches and watch kids skip down the court, shoot granny style baskets and have no clue what they're doing. It's classic. There are 3 of 9 kids on Ted's team that are somewhat aggressive and will take the ball from one end of the half-court to the other (Ted is one of them once he gets over his nerves). So, here's a 30 second snippet of a 30 minute game. Enjoy. (In case you're wondering, coaches are out on the floor directing kids the entire game. If not . . . holy cow!)
