When we were on assignment in July, we got word of a staff guy in VA's wife being diagnosed with cancer. She is 26 years old. They have an 8 month old daughter. We don't know them but our friend Adrienne knows her husband. Periodically, we have gotten updates about them from their regional director. Today I started reading her blog. I started at the beginning. I can't stop. To be honest, until today, I've been afraid to read it. The reality of it.
