halloween

We knew that we probably wouldn't be back from Connecticut in time for regular trick-or-treat. So, last week we took the kids to the Colosseum for trunk-or-treat with our friends, the Underdonks.

Sophie the 50's girl in her poodle dress (Thanks, Adrienne!) and Ted as the Mountaineer. Ted was a pirate for his school party. Evidently everyone else was super heroes and being the Mountaineer wasn't cool enough. Somebody needs to set that boy straight.
We went with the rest of Morgantown. The line was also that much in front of us.
Hudson the dinosaur got the good seat.

We came home and did the old "sorting of the candy" routine. Between two school parties and trunk-or-treat, I was VERY disappointed in the severe lack of chocolate. I guess people save that for regular trick-or-treat.
We got home too late to trick-or-treat on Monday so we carved pumpkins instead.

A little pumpkin to make her hair extra shiny.
