october catch up

The old blog has been pretty exciting lately with talk of surgery, birthdays, birth stories, haircuts, trips to the big city and other such things.  I can't keep that up forever, people. It's exhausting. So, we're going to play a little catch up from all the regular life stuff we've missed in between. Happy reading!

We went to Bridge Day in Fayetteville a couple of Saturday's ago. We had a WV Young Life event right after so it was a full, fun day. If you're never heard of Bridge Day, it's where hundreds (?) of people base jump off the New River Gorge Bridge. It's pretty crazy (nothing I'd ever do for sure) but very fascinating to watch.

This was a very nice Mercedes being towed for parking too close to the road. That would suck to park in miles of traffic to come back to find your car missing, even though you're not totally sure that's where you really parked in the first place!

It was a little windy and everyone was pretty tired

But a snack perked everyone up.

They played with the Berg's and a couple of other kids during the meeting.

WV YL people. I sent this picture to Scott Berg who promptly pointed out that Sophie was picking her nose. Didn't even notice!

This is Ted dressed like the kids in "The Sandlot" - his current favorite movie. He was home this day with strep throat. Don't tell me kids aren't influenced by media. He came downstairs in this outfit wanting to be one of them.

These beautiful ladies were all in Morgantown for about 4 hours together. It was so great and so spur of the moment. We missed you, Carissa!
