Today the Young Life River Region had a regional prayer day. The goal was that someone would be on the campus of every single high school in our region to pray today. Our region is WV, Western PA, and a small slice of OH in the Ohio Valley. Our area had lots of schools to cover but we had lots of people to pray. So, Ben & I took the kids to Riverside High School. Unfortuneately, it was raining - pouring, actually. So we prayed in the car. We let Ted pray for the sports teams and bands. It went something like this . . .
Dear Jesus, thank you for the band and soccer and volleyball and basketball and volleyball and football. And dear Jesus, please help me not tackle Sophie.
At least he's honest!
